Jodhpur-clad Lady of the Manor Miss Stevens calls her groundskeeper up to see her. She’s got an important garden party that afternoon, and the front lawn is full of unwelcome invader plants! What does he have to say for himself? A considerable amount, as it turns out. He points out that she pays for 40 hours a week work, so that’s what she gets. Furthermore, she asked him to prioritise removing said plants from the drive, which he duly did. She attempts to retort, that he’s getting ideas above his social station, that she only employs him because she knew his step-father… but she doesn’t seem to be coming out particularly well in the verbal sparring.
That’s when he delivers his knock-out punch – he knows she has secretly been contributing to worthy causes, even sponsoring the local labour party. He should know, he’s the branch treasurer! So despite her hard-faced aristocratic facade, she’s actually – SHOCK HORROR – a SECRET SOCIALIST! Imagine the scandal in the village if that juicy gossip were to get out! Her friends would disown her, the village fate would have to relocate, and the police commissioner wouldn’t be half as chummy as he is now.
There’s nothing for it, she has to offer him some compensation to keep the peace. And he chooses to spank her high-class aristocratic arse. What, wait?
